I have not posted in about a month, I have been keeping an eye on the forum though, but I am here , going to try and be more talkative and active on here!

SO when new year rolled around this year, hubby and I discussed possibly keeping a journal, a record of our children's discipline, can see what's working and what isn't and make it easier for us to make changes as needed.

I okayed it with him posting some of the entries on here,
Our son turns 6 now, and his sister is just 8 but already acts very polite and grown up in some ways, she likes being "ladylike" she tells us :)

But because of their ages we do need to correct fairly often.

So on the 1st this month I remember I had an important phonecall to make and after a couple interruptions, had to put both children in the corner to keep them quiet and let me finish my call, but no spanking needed.

My son earned spankings that first week also on the 5th and 7th. If I recall one was for acting up in church being fussy and disruptive, was told hed be spanked at home and if he kept it up id spank then and there.. well that just upset him so we did have to have a talk in the quiet room at church. had my wooden spoon in my purse.

Daughter earned two spankings that week on the 2nd and 4th our little book says. For her attitude and she was rude to one of her friends over some silly toy, they had this big bff falling out and the moms had to solve it for them, everyone's friends again now lol

My sons other spankings were the 10th, two on the 14th and he had one yesterday (19th) as well!

as you can see, he is the bigger handful most of the time, but he's a lovely caring boy.

Daughter only had three spankings in he last two weeks, seems she's on a good streak, shell have periods where she's really good, and other times where she cant seem to control her behavior!

there is always corner time after a spanking ,just thought I would add that detail.
