The back to school transition has gone well so far. Had a small hiccup last Friday but nothing major.

As far as church goes discipline is not really discusses. Our lead pastor does believe in spanking and to my knowledge uses it with his children. I remember him once making a comment when he was late to a Christmas party that he had to spank his son for doing something to his younger sister. He however isn't really allowed to discuss spanking and discipline because the elders there don't want to risk offending anyone or the church being blamed for a child being injured or something because of discipline.
