Our girls are off to a great start with school. They are part of a Christian co-op with a few other kids. Home school 2-3 days and co- op 2 or 3 days depending on the circumstances and weather etc. But always under Christian guidelines and instructors. Dress code for girls: dress or skirt at knee length or lower, no makeup or jewelry except for a cross necklace. Obviously not so strict on the days at home when it’s just us.
Our pastoral staff most definitely teaches biblical guidelines for obedience and parent child relationships. Not so much in a legalistic sense the way I grew up, but still solely based upon the Word. Our girls are clearly understanding of the importance of the family unit for a successful marriage, family, community and nation. When they choose to go against their teaching then the problem becomes a mommy and daddy issue that must be addressed in the appropriate manner. Believe me when I say that when those times occur, as they do in all homes because we are all sinners, those little white bottoms are red enough and warm enough to generate heat for the room they’re in.
The afterwards times are a different story for another time but definitely they must be restored and feel loved and cared for.
