Hello Skylar. Your Mom and Stepdad had made a covenant regarding child discipline at the beginning of their marriage. What is making you question the way you have been disciplined for the past three years? Have the spankings and other disciplines helped you make better choices in attitude and behavior? We have a responsibility to submit to parental authority even when the discipline we receive is not administered in the way we desire. Praying these questions will help you make the best decision regarding your relationship with your parents.
