Date Posted: 20:04:26 12/20/22 Tue In reply to: Kristina 's message, "Reports of Correction" on 17:43:06 12/20/22 Tue This happened on Tuesday night. The kids know they need to be polite, especially at the dinner table. We expect no slouching or electronic devices, and for please and thank you to be used. I don't know what got into my darling boy, but his manners were just awful! Reaching across the table, not saying please or thank you, even at one point belching loudly and not saying excuse me but instead, giggling! While my daughter had husband had dessert and handled the dishes, I brought my son to the living room, sat on the sofa, explained to him how very rude that behavior was and that its not acceptable. Then he got a bare bottomed hand spanking, it was quite the sound one, he cried his heart out and kicked his legs some, and I think the lesson was learned. I didn't make him have corner time, we just hugged and he apologized to me. His bottom was still a little warm when I put him to bed. >This thread is for sharing reports of >correction/discipline you have to give to your children [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
