I got hit mostly with a wooden yardstick and also wooden spoon in younger years and once with a razor strap.

Ranking from lightest to harshest

Wooden Spoon - Stung sharply especially when hitting my sit spot. On lighter side though and appropriate when i was a younger kid.

Yardstick - When it was used on me was handed out much like a school head probably gives a caning. It hurts plenty when used at its full potential. Even as a teen i didnt handle it well.

Razor Strap - Was no ordinary belt for trousers. This was a whole new level 😭😭😭😭😭
