I don't know hon. My Momma could really burn your bare butt up with her hand. When she started spanking, she spanked hard and fast and pretty much covered every inch of your butt. Never a set number of swats or anything like that. When she used the hairbrush, it wouldn't be as long as by hand. Or as fast either. I guess she wanted to be careful not to leave bruises. The next day, I could still feel it a little, but there weren't any marks or anything. Before I turned thirteen, most of my spankings were still by hand with her using the hairbrush occasionally depending on what I had done. From thirteen nearly all the spankings from Momma were with the hairbrush.
