Sweetie, I have to say, Even though I got quite a few spankings in School, and most of them weren't all that bad. I don't agree with using Corporal Punishment in School. Some of the teachers I had were like almost like family, and in spite of being spanked or paddled by them, I thought the world of them. Others not so much. The Assistant Principal and the Girl's Gym Coach in Jr. High both seemed to be on a power trip. In fact, thinking back, I think the Assistant Principal may have enjoyed paddling a little too much. That's probably why he hit so hard and maybe having the opportunity to paddle my partially exposed butt, was too much of an opportunity for him to pass up. I really regret wearing a mini skirt that day, but when I chose to let him paddle me, in spite of his reputation, I really had no idea he was going to hit me as hard as he did.

My Seventh Grade History Teacher was to not put it too bluntly a sexist pig. The fact that I disagreed with his comments about women's rights and so forth got under his skin and we argued a lot. One day, he took me out in the hall for a paddling. There was no way, I could deal with him and at the end of the First Semester, I was transferred out of his class.

I've heard others talk about School Staff that were abusive as well. One of the guys who used to be a regular in here still posts every once in a while named Gary Steven, talked about having an Art Teacher who enjoyed bullying and hitting kids. it finally got him fired. Because there was a boy in one of his classes who had been in an accident and had his leg in a cast. This teacher got so mad at him he paddled him. He hit him so hard that it rebroke his leg. That teacher was fired and rightfully so.

So even though I was paddled at school, I'm against it now. Because you have no way to know what the teacher or admin's motivation for spanking a kid is. It could be a teacher who really loves their students and treats kids like their own. Or it could be someone who is power tripping like my Assistant Principal and Gym Coach in Jr. High. Or someone who is sick in the head like the person you talked about or that Art Teacher that broke a boys leg hitting him so hard. So it's best they leave the spanking to the parents and handle discipline problems at school some other way.

My kids go to the same Schools, my Husband and I went to. However they abolished Corporal Punishment in this School System about fifteen years ago, which I guess is pretty rare in the South. Some of the teachers I had are still teaching and while I could trust some of them if they were going to spank my kids, I think it's better that they don't allow it anymore. If my kids misbehave at school, they can give them a detention and notify me, and if I think they need a spanking, I'll give them one at home.

If you have any questions for me hon, just ask.
