Hey guys, Y'all are right. Adults can be pretty bad when it comes to teasing kids, especially about getting spanked. I got a taste of that, when my friend Ramona and I egged a neighbor's house. She was a very mean old woman who was always yelling at kids in the neighborhood just for being kids. Yelling we are too loud, and need to get off the street with our bikes and whatever. She was always threatening to call the Sheriff on us. We weren't doing anything wrong, she was just hateful. Ramona and I got fed up with being yelled at by her and decided to get even. So we swiped some eggs from the refrigerator and when we thought she wasn't watching we egged her house. Unfortunately she caught us and took us back to my house. She told Momma what we had done and threatened to call the police. Momma made us apologize to her and then told her she would bring us back over in the morning to clean up our mess. She made a comment that we needed a good whippin'. So Momma gave us both a good bare butt spanking right in front of her. She stood watching with a wicked grin on her face while we got spanked. After the spanking Momma made us apologize again. Miss C.... said, "If they'd been mine, I'da taken a willow switch and cut the blood out of both of them." Momma told her, "If you weren't such a hateful old biddy, they wouldn't have done what they did." I had to admit, as much as my butt hurt and as embarrassed as I was, It felt good hearing Momma tell her off. The next morning after breakfast Momma took us across the street to her house with buckets of water and scrub brushes to clean the mess we made. It took a lot of elbow grease to get the dried egg off of the brick walls. After that, any time that biddy would see us outside she would yell, "You better behave yourselves or your Momma gonna pull down your pants and whip your bare little butts again." Of course that was always extra embarrassing when she said it in front of other kids. She even made a comment about it when Mark and I were out walking when we were thirteen. That was pretty embarrassing to be told that in front of your boyfriend. It wasn't long after that, that I saw her house was up for sale. I saw a woman come out and asked her what was going on, It was her neice. She told me that they had to put her in a Nursing home and were selling her house. I can't say I was sorry she was gone.
