I was guilty of teasing my sister in various ways oftener than I like to admit, and wish I had been kinder.

But I never teased her about her spankings. I was very sorry that she had gotten spanked. In our family, spankings HURT and were no trifling matters for us girls. My sister never teased me about my spankings either, even though she could be quite mean to me in other contexts.
