Sweetie, Momma was usually very vocal before, during and after the spanking. There was usually some scolding going on before. Then after having to bare your butt and bend over, she would start the spanking and many times continued the scolding during, although, many times you were crying too loud to really hear her. After the spanking was over, she let you back up and sometimes while rubbing and crying she was still scolding or discussing the behavior but her tone changed. It's hard to describe but she was less stern sounding and would generally send you on your way. Usually with her, after the spanking it was business as usual. Sometimes later, she'd come have a talk with you. No fussing or anything like that, just a discussion, then after, usually a hug and the whole matter was over.

Daddy would give you a stern talking to before the spanking, then once you were bare and in position, he rarely ever said a word while he spanked you. Then would let you up. He might say something or he might not after. But later, he would come to your room to check on you. When he did, he usually sat down and had a talk with you.

There were times there were exceptions. But this is how it usually went.
