Well nothing quite like that...
In our house, you were usually told you were getting spanked and why. We would usually go into the living room, then stand in front of Momma or Daddy for a pre spanking lecture. Then you were told to pull your pants or panties/underwear down and turn over their knee. Momma usually did the spanking and she spanked hard and fast. Usually by hand but sometimes with her hairbrush instead. She often continued to scold you while you were getting spanked. Daddy just used his hand and it was normally a dozen or so swats. He was more deliberate when he spanked. After the spanking you were let up and normally that was the end of it. After a little rubbing and crying, I usually pulled my pants up, went to my room, checked the damage in the mirror and then cried it out. Sometimes, Momma or Daddy would come to my room and talk to me about my behavior and why I got spanked then would make up with me. Otherwise, the matter was pretty much over.
