The only time I remember a spanking being interrupted was one day dad spanked my brother and me. I was nine at the time and he was twelve. He was really upset because we had been told we needed to help out around the house because mom was sick and had orders for bedrest for a few days. The helping was all light stuff but we were just being ornery. Mom got up and was washing our dishes and cleaning up the mess we left in the kitchen when dad came home from work. He was ticked off. He came to our room and made us both get up off the beds. He royally chewed us out then told us to drop our pants and lean over with our hands on the dresser. Then he took off his belt, folded it and gave it a loud snap. I was standing there bare from waist to ankles and started bawling. He told me I'd better not move then he started whipping my bare butt. I screamed out loud with each lick of the belt. After the third or fourth lick, my brother pulled his pants back up and took off running. Dad stopped whipping and told my brother, Paul, get your ass back here, NOW! He didn't so dad went and chased him down. I still stood there bawling and rubbing my butt but looked over and saw through the window that dad caught him out side, grabbed him by the arm and started whipping him all the way back into the house. I made sure I was still standing there with my hands on the dresser and my pants still around my ankles, when they got back to the bedroom. He made Paul drop his pants and underwear and lean over the dresser and really wore him out. He was crying louder than I was. When he finished with Paul, dad told us both to pull up our pants and get our butts into the kitchen and clean up our mess or he would wear us out again. As much as it hurt, I considered myself lucky I hadn't tried to run because Paul got it a lot worse than I did.
