When I was a kid, I got plenty of spankings in School, Most of which I can honestly say I deserved. By hand or paddle and a couple with a ruler. I managed to get at least one each year from first through seventh grade. Our school system had permission slips parents had to fill out and sign every year for each student to allow or not allow them to be paddled. If you didn't turn it in, it was automatically assumed you would allow them to be spanked at school. My parents always signed for us to be spanked at School. That all changed for us after my last paddling in Seventh Grade. That year was the year I got spanked the most at school. I got the paddle five times. Two by the Girl's Gym Coach, One from my History Teacher, One from my English teacher and My last one was from the Assistant Principal. The Assistant Principal gave me three licks and hit me full force swinging the paddle with both hands on my half exposed butt. The bruising was so severe, I literally couldn't sit and lasted well over a week. He eventually lost his job over it and my parents removed the permission for us to be spanked at school.

Normally when one of us got in trouble at School, whether it was a spanking, detention, lines or whatever, we would usually get our bare bottoms spanked at home Mostly by Momma.

Now, I live two blocks away from where I grew up and my three children go to the same Schools I went to. However, they no longer practice corporal punishment. Which seems to be pretty unusual in the South. But if my kids get in trouble at School, depending on the situation, they will get spanked at home.

While I'm on the fence regarding Corporal Punishment at School, I have no problem at all with children being spanked at home for misbehaving at school.
