The play spankings were secret. The only times we got caught actually didn't involve my sister she wasn't born yet. When we lived in PA, Dad was stationed at Oldham Air Base and we lived in base housing. We had several neighbors who were German or German American and one was a family with the last name Guenther. They had two daughters who were the same ages and my brother and me. The girls were Antonia or Toni and Tammy. Tammy was my age and Toni was Paul's age. We spent a lot of time with the girls and mom and Mrs. Guenther would trade off baby sitting. We didn't always behave so it wasn't unusual for us to get spanked by Mrs. Guenther or for her girls to get spanked by my mom. So there were quite a few times we saw each other getting bare bottom spankings or even all got spanked together. We also played things like house and that included spankings. Since we got spanked bare pretty much all the time, the play spankings were also done bare. The first time we got caught, they were at our house. We were up in the bedroom playing and the adults were downstairs playing cards in the kitchen. While we were playing, Paul had Tammy over his knee and I was over Toni's since they were the "parents" and we were the kids and we were getting spanked on the bare bottom. While I was in the middle of a spanking, dad walked in checking up on us and literally caught us red handed. I remember him asking what was going on and Toni just spoke right up and said, "We're playing house Mr. ...... I'm the Mommy and Gary's been bad." I figured we were going to be in trouble, but dad just said, "I see". "Maybe you should find something else to play." and then he walked out closing the door behind him. Nothing was said about it.

The next time we got caught was out in the tool shed beside the apartment building we lived in. Each building had a shed on each end and they were pretty much open to all the residents on the side of the building they were located on. We pretty much used it as our club house and one day we were playing in it and decided to play house again. This time Mrs. Guenther caught us and she was getting ready to spank all four of us. She hollered for mom to come out and then sat down in one of the chairs and turned Toni over her knee. She had literally just pulled her panties down and was getting ready to start spanking her when mom came out and asked what was going on. She gave Toni one smack and told mom what we were doing and she caught Toni spanking me bare. I figured we'd all had it but mom talked her out of spanking us. Pretty much telling her to us since we got bare bottom spankings for real, it would be reasonable for us to spank each other the same way. So Mrs. Guenther let Toni off her lap to pull her panties back up. Then told us she better not catch us doing this again. She never caught us again, although it didn't stop us.

As far as other play spankings, were concerned including with Karen and her friends. No, we never got caught. If we had been, I'm sure we would have gotten the real thing. There were a few close calls, but no times where we got caught.

Karen and I were very close. Our running joke was we were fraternal twins and we looked enough alike as adults (even though she had more hair and no beard or mustache) That people actually believed it. Then I'd tell them we are twins born five years apart. Unfortunately Karen passed away ten years ago just 24 days shy of her fiftieth birthday. In addition to being my sister, she was my medical advocate after my first heart attack in 2005 and got me through some really dark times. She also my bandmate and one of the best friends I ever had. I miss her every day.
