I was only spanked with a hand or small, but quite solid little wood paddle. Human nature being as it is, anyone else like me who only experienced one implement may consider it "the worst!"

Even though well over 40 years have passed, I can still recall my final few paddlings (between age eleven and twelve) quute well. They were all bare, with me over my dad's knee. While a typical spanking from him was only babbitt 20 spanks with the paddle, he was especially good at ending a spanking with rapid-fire style to drive the lesson home. Even as a twelve year old the sting was crisp and unbelievable. When I got a paddling at that age, it was remembered.

However, being mindful of the forum rules, I offer this. While I may be biased, I'll say that, looking back on my experiences with spanking at that age, a small wood paddle, applied correctly, is probably an ideal implement. While it certainly hurt like hell, it was nothing more than a flat, "smacking" sting. It will certainly leave a butt red, though I never saw lasting bruises or other marks on my butt or anyone else's after getting a quick, but spirited paddling.
