I had to go to Mom's bedroom, get the belt out and put it on the dresser and wait for her with pants off. Pants always had to come off but for a really bad transgression, I had to take my underpants off too.

Mom always wanted me bent all the way over (she said it was for safety but I am sure she also appreciated that it made the spanking hurt more) so my whitie tighties would scrunch up and she would usually give them a tug before she started so I was pretty much bare either way.

I think the main difference was Mom signalling that it was going to be an especially bad spanking. I don''t think it made much of a difference because my spankings were effectively bare bottom either way.
