Yes sitting was uncomfortable and in my school. Teachers did most of the paddling. Those who laughed and made fun usually hadn’t had the paddle applied to their backsides. It was the female teachers who sent us to the principal. The male teachers did their own. I don’t think there were a limit on the number of smacks they could give. I never got more than 6 which was unbearable. Did your Christian school require girls to wear skirts or dresses always? Did you have someone laugh at you when you got paddled who later got paddled and they cried? That happened with me.
