When I was growing up my brother Mark, our cousin Christian, and our cousin Victoria would often be given a warning spank or 3 over our clothed bottoms or our bare thigh since toward bedtime we would often run around in boxers/panties or shorty pajamas. On numerous occasions like these we were directly told that further misbehavior/disobedience would result in a formal bare bottom spanking in front of the other kids.

In other words, if we did not clean up our act in response to the clothed quick spanking, our parents would not only spank our bare bottoms, but they would do so in full view of the other kids who would have a full view of the misbehaving child’s naked lower half. The threat of such an embarrassing punishment after already getting swatted tended to be an extremely powerful deterrent, and to be honest it was a very, very effective consequence on the few occasions it had to be enforced.
