Opposite of a flurry, Dad seemed to very much space out the last few yardstick smacks and made the last few the heaviest of the lot.

Noticed this when watching my brothers getting hit, and it was very much my experience too.

The intent was very much make a final point that he viewed my behaviour very dimly and that the consequences were severe so i wouldnt repeat it.

Ill tell ya, it worked!
