My parents were not sadists. Spankings were very painful, but that was the extent of the punishment. They didn't hang around to make sure we wouldn't try to reduce the suffering.

Spankings were always with a single implement. Maybe my parents were not creative enough, but the first time I ever heard of multiple implements being used was in fictional BDSM stories.

Never more than a single spanking in a day. A spanking was very eventful. The chances of two spankings in a month was quite low, and that was only at younger ages. As a teenager, when I got spanked, there was never a need for another one any time soon.

I have no experience with this personally, or heard of it happening to anyone I have ever known. Again, I only know of the scenario from fiction.

I only know of this from school, when more than one student was being paddled one after the other. I'm not sure which is better, but going last, there's a better chance of a bomb threat or the teacher having a heart attack before they get to the end of the line. :)

This never happened to me, but it would be hard to take a small sample size and make a quantifiable comparison. A spanking was kind of measured for the offense, so it's hard to say what would be normal.
