The adult would usually recount your misdeed, then "Strip and stand in the corner." Which meant you had to go to the corner of the room, take off all your clothes, and stand there, facing the room, with your hands on top of your head and await your spanking. Sometimes it was just the final order when you were caught "red handed"... soon you would be RED BACKSIDE.
