Hi Ann, yes it was very common for older sisters to bathe their younger brothers and even give them a few swats on their butts while bathing them if they didn't hold their position while she washed them and for other reasons.
I myself experienced this with my older stepsister.
Also was common for older sisters to bâthe other boys who were sleeping over which I saw and experienced when visiting friends homes.
I also knew several boys who were bathed by older sisters, babysitters and young aunts even up to the age of 10 or 11.
Life was different back then and everyone accepted it as normal.
