I’m surprised not more Asians post here. I grew up in the US, but we never mentioned home discipline outside our cultural circle, I think many in the US would call it abuse (it wasn’t) because of how frequently we were spanked, and for things that many families wouldn’t think about. Education/grades being huge.

Many posts here I can relate too. At least up to age 13 when I got my last “real” spanking. After that, it was just a few swats with hand or slipper, or anything within reach really. Just not over a lap with panties down.
