Interesting topic! I think women becoming school Principals is definitely one aspect of the shift in authority. The second is going from the aspect of women acting as nurses only and becoming doctors. I have a female urologist and while she is entirely professional and I am grateful for her small fingers, I sense she feels some level of domination, especially when giving a DRE.

I am reminded of one of my favorite scenes from the East of Eden miniseries when Jane Seymour requests the spanking of two boys from their dads to be given bare. The spanking is off screen, but Jane yelling out "Bare!" was very powerful.
