Long before women had any seats of power in public positions it was not the same concerning spankings.
Women had equal rights and sometimes more as far as spankings went. Boys were spanked routinely, even sometimes up to late teens, by moms, aunts, babysitters, female teachers and other female carers as many here attest.

One position that strikes me concerning female power over men today is that in many male prisons today not only are females employed as guards to control male prisoners but also the top job in some male prisons are female.
One particular thing that strikes me about this is that these female prison employees can supervise the male prisoners in the showers to see that they behave or being strip searched in their presence which is a common and routine practice today in these male prisons.

So while spankings in institutions have been been mostly outlawed today and much less common in homes or schools women are in charge of men in many places, both commercially and governmental departments.
Some may agree with these situations while others may resent it, depending on the way you look at it.
