How many of us played a game as a kid with friends where the loser got spanked?

It didn't happen too often in my past but one I recall was a game of tag with some of the other kids on my block. If I recall there were several boys and girls, mixed teams.

The team that lost got lined up, one by one, facing a tree and smacked an unspecified number of times with a flip flop.

I lost once and won once. Though when I won I couldn't bring myself to spank the girl on the opposing team. Not because I didn't want to, but I was getting close to my teen years and I knew that this was something with overtones.

It was all very innocent and harmless. Especially since the implements where soft rubber flip flops that delivered about as much pain as a feather duster.

It was all fully clothed and I think no one else except me gave it a second thought. Especially since, in those days, we were all used to getting real spankings at home (and sometimes in school)
