I preferred to be spanked by my mother. The first and most compelling reason was that my dad’s spankings hurt more. Whether she used her hand, a hairbrush, or a belt, my mom didn’t spank as hard.

The second reason was I idolized my father. I wanted to be just like him when I grew up! Just knowing that he was angry or disappointed with me hurt, too.
