First Happy Mother's day to the Mothers out there.

Are mothers more likely, or less likely to be the
primary spanker in the family?

I would think mothers are more likely, just by virtue of the fact that mothers do a higher amount of childcare in general. In my case, my mother was a stay at home mom so she was the primary spanker.

Did your mother ever give you a hard but well deserved spanking?

Yep! My mom was a big proponent of spanking and used spanking as her go-to punishment. She also believed that if something was worth doing, it was worth doing right! I took many trips over her knee over the years.

Just for kicks, share a favorite memory of your mother?

My favorite memory was from when I was 12. I was a huge fan of The Rolling Stones, the first album I ever bought with my own money was Some Girls. I asked to go, but my parents told me the tickets were too expensive. We were fairly poor growing up so I believed them. The day of the concert was brutal! All the kids who were going were in their Rolling Stones shirts, bragging about how they were getting out of school early to make it to the show in time. I was in quite the sour mood. Then, I got the call that my mom was there to pick me up. She had two tickets and I had the time of my life! I still don’t know what kind of sacrifices my parents had to make to make that happen.
