Bday spankings did not in any real way resemble punishment spankings: They were given with the open hand on the seat of my trousers at the bday party in front of all guests. Even if they were given hard, I barely felt them. However, I got one from each kid at the party so by the time I got swat #100 maybe I was thinking that's enough.

Always at parties. It was more of a party thing.

No, but I came close a few times when the party sugar hyped me into brattiness.
