Outside of an occasional playful pat on the butt my parents never hit each other. In fact, I never heard my Daddy ever raise his voice to Momma much less his hand. So even the thought of him giving her a real spanking, No, that would never happen. It's the same between Mark and me. He has never raised his hand or his voice to me and the only spankings between us have never been more than a playful slap.
