It was around 12 years old for me.

I was starting to think I was too old for spankings, and my growing sense of bodily autonomy made the whole act of pulling down my pants and underwear and submitting to a bare bottom spanking really did a number on my pride. I remember being afraid of other people finding out I was still getting spankings.

When I got to that age it was a lose/lost situation. If I did not comply with mom she would have my dad spank me which would have been worse. I also felt more emotionally connected to my mother, so being spanked by her was an easier pill to swallow.

I still feel a little bit of embarrassment about my spankings. That is part of why I like this forum! It is a place to have candid discussions about what we experienced without the fear of judgement. And if there is judgement, we’re all strangers!
