I don't understand trauma well enough to say exactly what the impact of my experiences were. Yes, we were spanked on the bare buttocks in my family, but that didn't stand out as anything unusual. Though I discovered I had a spanking fetish at an early age (didn't know what to call it, of course), there was no sexual stimulation or aftermath from a parental spanking. I have vague memories of an erection in the anticipation phase, but it was not a manifestation of sexual desire, and it was long forgotten once the punishment was underway.
