I didn't get corner time before or after a spanking.

When I was "in for it", my mom usually bared my bottom right then and there... so also no "Go to your room, waiting for me". She then spanked me standing or putting me over her lap, comforted me, when it was over and then went back to normal... all was forgiven.

No need for corner time, because I knew already, what I did wrong and how to do better.... no need to think about it in a corner.

I'm indeed thinking, that staring a wall had distracted me from thinking about what I did wrong.
