Your mom sounds like a tough cookie! I think my mom also had a general idea of how hard of a spanking she wanted to deliver.

Like I said above, it never occurred to me to try to fake my reactions, but if I had tried it, then I'd bet she would have noticed, and it would have made the whole situation worse.
