In the 60s my mom was a stay at home mom she could spank with the paddle not the belt she would scold during a spanking but dad did not he said he did his talking with the paddle or belt he was definitely the head of house and my three sisters and I if we broke a rule or did not listen our bottoms by him if he was home or mom if he was not paid a price .We were not religious during the week but showed up late for church on Sunday
