For me the worse part of a spanking was the pain! That hot,throbbing,burn that would consume your buttock flesh and make you feel that the skin on your butt cheeks had a life of its own! During the spanking the only things in the universe for me were either Momma or Daddy's hand and my two mounds of rapidly reddening and burning buttock flesh! The emotions came before and after the actual spanking itself! About half an hour after the spanking when the sizzling heat on my butt cheeks started to calm down 'a little'! Then feelings of 'emotional upset', and shame occupied my thoughts! As you said Carol I never distinguished between 'regular' and 'severe' spankings! Spankings simply HURT!!!! Pure and simple! A spanking was something to be dreaded and feared! And boy oh boy they were!!
