Well Honey, I won't say I miss the spankings, but as far as I'm concerned for the most part, I had a great childhood. Spankings were a part of that childhood. I was raised by a pair of awesome parents who loved me unconditionally. They would do anything for me even now. I'm still very close to them. My brother and sister where typical kids. We had the usual sibling love/hate relationship, but we're also very close. I had some really great friends, especially my besties Ramona, Allison, my Cousin Cassie and of course my childhood sweetie and now husband Mark.
I was a very active kid and always into something it seems, also very hard headed at times, so spankings were a given. I was a big baby when it came to getting spanked so I'd try to avoid them whenever possible. The spankings I got from both Momma and Daddy, were painful and embarrassing since they were bare bottom. Mostly by hand although Momma did use the hairbrush on occasion especially when I was older. But the only regret I have is putting them in the position to have to spank me. If I had do to do some of the those things I got spanked for growing up all over again, I'd probably do it all over again.

I did get a few "spankings" that were abusive. Not from my parents but there were two from my Granny. One with a switch when I was six and the other by hand when I was seven. There was also one from the Assistant Principal when I was in seventh grade. The switching from Granny left me with welts all over my butt, back and legs that lasted for days. The other spanking was by hand but she basically went crazy on me and was hitting me as hard as she could and left me bruised up. The one from the Assistant Principal was done full force on my half exposed bottom and left me severely bruised for over a week. I wouldn't want to relive those memories for all the money in the world.

I can't say I MISS the spankings, but I miss those childhood days
