Hi, my sister and I played naked in our garden and the woods when we were growing up, sometimes joined by the girl next door and we didn't think anything of it. We normally ended up naked because of the weather or getting wet but there were many times we were encouraged to take off our clothes to get the sun on our skin and a top up of vitamin c!
I don't know when it started, it seems like we were always like that and it didn't really stop being a regular thing till we were 10 or 11, then for a year or so it was less frequent outdoors.
We used to go to France for our summer holidays camping and would spend all day on the beach and many times naked again as well as in the tent when we got up in the morning or in the late afternoons after the beach helping mum with the evening meal, it just seemed natural.
My parents were very social and always had people round for drinks and stuff and we never covered up, I think there were a few people who we tried to stay away from as they made us feel a bit uncomfortable but everyone else didn't really take any notice of us so we were relaxed round them.
When we had our English holidays, we would often go walking and if we found a lake or river we could play in, mum always got us to undress and go in for a play about which we loved as we would build dams and things in the water. Walkers would come past sometimes and some would stop to chat and stuff and maybe take a picture or have their picnic with us.
I've never really thought much about these times as they were so long ago but it does seem like we were encouraged to be like this a lot more than most kids and plenty of times with lots of adults around. I don't think anything bad happened beyond being photographed like all kids are except we only had our underwear on our nothing at all.

Your mother didn't have any objection to those walkers taking pictures with you when you were naked?
