In reply to: Ben 's message, "Nudity Standards" on 12:31:16 09/02/25 Tue

Now that I think about it, there was a time when I spent the night at a friends house when I was ten. He had a younger sister who was seven. We were undressing in his room and she walked in on us. I was completely naked! I Covered my penis and balls with my hands. She just laughed as I yelled at her to leave. It took about ten seconds, but my friend finally pushed her out. I was fighting mad and I told him I wanted to her back. He just looked up at me and said: "Let it Go." I still see my friend every once in a while. That was nearly 30 years ago. I never did get to see his sister naked, but much to my delight she could be rather careless about how she dressed and when I did see her, I often got to see her panties. At that age, I was a real pervert for panties.

Ever noticed that it is usually the male of the species that is expected to take risks?

We're expected to take risks on the battlefield and on the athletic field, but think of the psychological risks which we have to take.
If you ask a girl to dance with you, she might say no.
If you ask a girl to go out with you, she might say no.
If you ask a woman to marry you, she might say no.
Your female counterpart, ever the lovely wallflower, is spared these risks.

We are also customarily expected to take financial risks.
If you invest in a business, you might make a loss.

True, a woman giving birth to a child is taking a risk,
but overall, both nature and nurture conspire to mandate risky ventures onto us.
I'm not saying that women don't have to perform unpleasant tasks.
I realize that housework isn't very exciting,
but I'm not talking about unpleasantries in general, I'm talking specifically about risks.

It wasn't a mere flip of a coin that made boys but not girls go skinny-dipping.
It wasn't a mere flip of a coin that made boys but not girls receive bare-bottom paddlings in school.
It wasn't a mere flip of the coin that made boys to undergo physical exams while their sisters watched but not vice-versa.
Those are all manifestations of the same instinct.

What happens when boys never get to show themselves to giggling and whispering girls?
They grow into nervous wrecks like me.
That's why you see guys like me on this forum, trying to identify with those of you who lived a more corporeally revealing childhood.

As you all know, the present generation has it even worse.
I quake to think of what they're going to grow into.
They could at least go outside the house with no shirt on.
They could at least wear short-shorts.
They could at least wear speedos.
They could at least change clothes in the locker room without performing a towel dance.
They will surely end up worse than WE did!

But no! There is a predator hiding behind every bush, and they need to be protected at all times!

This may sound like a joke, but I mean it:
I say that nudity for boys is not an app, not an accessory, and not icing on the cake.
I say that nudity for boys is an essential element in their upbringing, right along with athletics and right along with dating.

School itself is a programming experience.

Public schools in US are modeled after Prussian army system. The school system instill absorbing endless boredom, and a false carrot that straight As gets rewards financially.

Those that took limited risks as LLC instead of advanced degrees are often far better rewarded when successful.

Gym and fitness were much the same but watered down now. It was expected you can do pullups run etc even if not true of kids today. You swam nude and in some parts of rust belt did calthenics nude too.

The follow up is lies that women are sugar and spice and everything nice, and all trouble starts with men.

Men now ofdten judge women by their action and can ignore the endless verbal pleasantries, as a femal manerism.
