I've been a lurker on this board for several weeks. About 20 years ago I made a post on a similar board about my nudity experience as a 12 year old boy. It created a lot of interest and comments. I've only posted the story once or twice since.
Back in the early '60's, my just turned 15 year old sister, younger brother and I were sent to spend the summer at my aunt's farm which freed mom to take care of a few things. My aunt had 4 boys, twins Kenny and Karl who were also 12, and my 2 younger cousins Randy and Matt.
The first night we were there, aunt Martha said us boys were to get showered for the night and led us into a converted garage. I was confused. The garage had no bathtub or any shower that I could see. She told me and my younger brother she had neither the time nor hot water for full showers and she would hose us down every night. I was still confused until she told us to get undressed. I was shocked, not even my mom had seen me naked for several years now and I was to get undressed in front of all the other boys and my aunt. I also noticed she didn't close the door and I was paranoid my sister Donna could just walk in. There was nothing else I could do except get undressed like the other boys were doing. I was totally uncomfortable and embarrassed as my aunt sprayed us with a hose that was connected to a small (hot) water tank, told us to soap up and wash our hair and she then rinsed us off. I quickly dried off and even more quickly got dressed.
The next day or so later, aunt Martha asked my sister Donna if she'd be willing to help her with our showers, explaining that we boys were all naked. Donna said something like, “yeah, I guess I could do that.” Us older boys protested but aunt Martha would have none of that saying, “Donna's a big girl now, she's family and will have kids of her own someday. She's going to be there to help me, not to stare at you boys,” Remember the time, these were days where young girls were being prepared for being housewives and raising kids.
The inevitable shower time came and we were all led into the garage. Aunt Martha told us boys to get undressed, which the younger boys did without any hesitation or embarrassment. Us older boys slowly took off our clothes down to our underwear. Aunt Martha scolded us to “hurry up.” I turned away from everyone and took off my underwear and threw it in with my other dirty clothes. I worked up the courage to turn around. I was now standing naked in front of Donna, a girl, my sister. I had an erection which at that time I had no idea why, but it only added to my embarrassment.
This went on all summer long and had to be an educational experience for Donna. None of us boys had any pubic hair yet. We were all circumcised too, although I didn't know anything about that at the time. After our showers were done, Donna was allowed to take a private shower, aunt Martha simply told her not to use up all of the hot water.

Those were different times than now.
Boys don't have to go through that today as they are given more privacy, and it seems that circumcision is not as prevalent as it once was.
Back in the 1950s it was routine for baby boys to be circumcised at birth without even asking the parents.

Oh yeah, the rural area and the same setup. One vivid memory I have is from when I was about 11 years old, visiting my aunt’s place. My girl cousin washed all five of us boys -aged 4 to 11 - from head to toe at the bathhouse. I just stood there with my feet in a basin as she was soaping me all over, and feeling her fingers soaping up my private parts felt very strange, especially since even my mom had stopped bathing me by that time. I didn’t feel anything exciting, just a mix of embarrassment and tickling. I saw her washing all the other boys - my brothers, cousins, and a neighbor boy - in the same way, but didn’t expect that I would be treated the same manner, being the oldest one being washed.

MSH, that sounds like your sister didn’t have any experience bathing boys just before the first time she helped with you boys and your aunt. Did your aunt instruct her or something? I mean, on how to be gentle with the private area and how to slide back the foreskin if necessary?

She may have helped my younger brother a bit when he was a baby or toddler; I really don't remember. Foreskins was not an issue as I said in the post, we were all circumcised although at that time I didn't even know that, I just thought all boys looked like that. My sister didn't physically touch us older boys. Her job was to hand us, soap, shampoo, towels, adjust the water temperature mix per my aunt's instructions, etc, She did help the younger boys wash though but it was a long time ago, and again I don't remember if she was given any instructions. It was a small area we were in, I believe it was a converted one-car garage so we were always in very close proximity.

Having six boys at once, three of whom probably needed to be washed, was a lot to handle, and she really needed help. At the very least, she had to hold a hose to wash the little boys and hose you down at the same time. By the way, how old were the 3 younger boys? Did they really need to be washed, or did they just need some assistance?
In my case, it was kind of a matter of fact that my cousin would wash us boys. No one ever told us about it before the bath; she just started soaping us up one by one.

Cuando eramos pequeños mi hermana 13. mi primo 8 y yo 9, mis padres nos llevaron de canping a la costa de Cadiz. estbamos todo el dia en la playa y cuando llegaba la tarde, mi madre y mi hermana, nos llevaba a mi primo y a mi a las duchas. Como no se fiaban de que nos ducharamos bien, ellas nos metian en las duchas de las mujeres, nos desnudaban y mientras mi madre bañaba a mi primo, mi hermana me bañaba a mi. Habia una zona de vestuario donde nos ponian de pie en una banqueta para secarnos y vestirnos, siempre habia niñas de nuestra edad por alli que no se perdian como nos bañaban desnudos delante de ellas. nos daba mucha verguenza pero mi madre se reia y mi hermana disfrutaba.

Your mom probably didn't think it was very embarrassing for you guys. To be fair, you were still kids. You were in the women's showers, so did you also not see the girls naked too??

En ese caming, llas duchas de los hombres eran comunes, pero el de las chicas eran individuales. Las madres, hijas y hermasnas se duchaban juntas en una amplia cabina que se cerraba con una cortina de plástico. Si era comun el vestuario que consistia en una larga banqueta con perchas para colgar la ropa. las chicas se duchaban y salian con la toalla a vestirse. Cuando estabamos alli, solo veiamos desnudas a alguna chica que no tenia pudor que los niños la vieran desnuda. Tambien habia familias de gente del norte de Europa(Daneses, suecos, finlandeses) que salian de la ducha todas las chicas de cualquier edad sin que les importara estar desnuudas delante nuestra.Cuando eso ocurria, yo miaraba a las chicas de 12/13/14 años que ya tenia vello púbico y pechos y me encantaba, mi hermana se daba cuenta y me daba la vuelta para que no mirara.
