I liked topic and much like you saw nudity at a beach, lake in woods, and campgrounds. I was in rural Florida that tolerated this for boys and girls in part because of the oppresive heat, and tradition too.
We had quite a bit of fun growing up though. My mom and her best friend would take us to campsite and dad would meet us friday after work sometimes.
We would park and use bathhouse and walk to beach from there. I would walk to bathroom in morning naked and also walk to beach naked there. Like you it was common then to see kids do this but boys stopped much later than you described. I tought it was fun to go naked. Back then some girls topless sunbathed but did it more discretely but observed at that age I was not seen as a threat at all and could sometimes talk to them as a cute boy. No one ever said anthing about me being naked on beach. After a week of doing that I forgot I was naked and seemed normal.

Mostly the beach for me too. Not that I remember being naked for a long time on the beach, but I would casually change into and out of my swimming trunks completely in the open, in full sight of any other people who were there.
When it was time to leave, I would strip my trunks off, walk naked down to the sea so I could rinse any wet sand out of them and wash the sand off my body, then walk back up the beach to get dressed. Totally naked the whole time and without a care in the world.
I used to do this until I was about age 10. We lived far from the sea, so a trip to the beach was a treat for the summer holidays only. The chances of meeting anyone else I knew besides my family was pretty much zero, or I would never have done it at that age. I didn't mind being naked around strangers who I'd never see again, but I'd have died of shame if any of my female friends saw me!

Thats great for you to remember such detail.
For me it was long agon in remote Florida with oppresive heat inland farming regions. I can say with under 8 I was frewuently nude at beach and backyard and then as pre-teen I got shorts but was optional till 12 or 13 at beach and not worn in backyard at all really. Same girls saw this and seemed to giggle and enjpoy it sometimes if they did not have brothers to see this. After I did farm chores as boy I might spend afternoon naked if I wanted.
