Sean, what you write comforts me too and seems very similar to our experience.
As I wrote the other day, we also only do it on uncrowded, isolated beaches, where it's allowed.
Often, my sons aren't the only naked boys, just like in the examples you gave.
How old were the brother and sister naked on the beach?
The public kids' pool, which tolerated naked children up to 12 years old, is interesting... my children would have loved it and would have liked to go there often... Here, they only tolerate naked children up to 5 or 6 years old.
My children always play naked in the courtyard of their grandparents' country house... the house is relatively isolated from the others, so they're pretty out of sight. Not completely; from some points along the street, you can see a few specific, narrow spots in the courtyard, but very few people pass by, so it's fine. Weather permitting, they play outside naked. Sometimes their two cousins (my brother's children, whom I mentioned earlier) are there too.

Our group when I started was 10, myself, girl 9, and her brother 7ish.
The brother and sister at beach going nake were 9 and 7 too. If boys younger in group did it I always did too and it was OK, as we were remote.
But we only got to go to ocean beach once in awhile, we would all play naked in a grandmothers pool and backyard in summer if warm. We were on a gravel road and no one cared to look or travel there.
I do remember even walking to over brother ans sisters house naked sometimes a mile away. No way that happens today. It seemed girls living on farms all knew what boys looked like anyway.

I'm so happy for you and the boys and girls you played naked with. You must have had a really wonderful childhood.

The girls who lived on the farm knew practically everything about boys' bodies, unlike me and the girls from the city...
When I talked to girls at school or at the beach, the girls from the countryside or who had grown up on the farm knew everything about boys' penises and balls... lol... I really envied them.

I enjoyed growing up that way when warm outside playing near end of school year. I would take my shorts off after school as routine as two other boys did too.
Girls I grew up with were used to seeing penises all summer and not that unique or shocking. It was just part of being a good boy at that time and gift you give moms and girls in summer. I would have loved, for my brother and I, to be part of your group of friends. You would have convinced him to be naked like you (which he never did), and I could have played with naked boys… I would have been dressed, but when it was really hot, I would have worn just my panties like that girl you write about.

There were three girls in group and they were all different. The one with brother was happy to were panties at home and one piece at beach, one was modest and wore sundress and sandals but happy to wear one piece on beach with boys. The younger girl 7 was often nude with boys but stopped at 9 or so. Boys did not have a cut off age really.
I was oldest and would have to watch boys at beach when we went. I was required to swim nude in pool and beach if other boys did. I would take off shorts for whole day if a beach day. I did not have problem at beach but diners on way home had no shirt no shoes no service policy. They were more lienient on young boys though.
I am guessing third of boys went nude at beach and most at a kids pool nearby. Even so the most nudity I saw was PE and sports.

I would have been like the first girl, the one with her brother: I would have worn panties at home and a one-piece swimsuit at the beach. I would have remained in just my panties even in your presence or around the other boys in the group, it wouldn't have been a big deal.

In my childhood, it was the opposite. The few naked boys I saw were at the beach or at the pool, changing from wet swimsuits into dry ones or into clothes to go home. As you wrote, "Boys didn't really have a cut-off age." So while girls were changed in the bathroom or covered with a towel, boys were changed openly, with no privacy. Luckily for me... lol…

Well I always went intially with boy and girl, and boy always went nude so they wanted me to as well. He was 7 and I was 10. Since they drove and took me I just did it with no objection. I just had heavy weaith cotton shorts so would not swim in them anyway.I would walk to beach in towel and fliplfops or nothing. No one objected about kids back then.
