i would doubt that any mom would take photos of their kids naked, or that if they did the person in the photos would share those photos of themselves naked as a child.

It's unlikely that anyone would post so many personal photos or videos in a public forum. Maybe in a personal chat or email, but not here.

i suggest not posting any naked photos of children anywhere on the internet, because once there they can't be taken down.

Absolutely true! However, for many people, including me, what is interesting is not the details or particulars, depicted in the photo, but the situation and the emotions it would provoke. There are techniques for hiding sensitive areas and preserving the anonymity and dignity of the depicted faces, such as pixelating or animating the images, which do not change the facts and context of the situation depicted in the photo. I do not think it would be a problem for such processed images to be shared in personal correspondence between participants in such forums who have built up some trust, even if they are relatively unknown as an illustration of an incident or event.
