 Hon you did the right thing with Brian! do you bring implement in purse or just hand? I think you should be quick to discipline in church as its a place where rudeness and disruption and noise are a nono. As a result I end up there with my son quite regularly. Ours has same thing benches in lobby I got a few out there as a girl, clearly were memorable since I still remember lol

but yeah 5 x quicker to spank at church than other places as its just tude and its not first time at church. they know the drill, usually theyre only with adults for the music part and announcements, announcements is when boredom hits some kids and then end up earning one
