And of course we dont always like having to give them either, but its an even bigger example for them that sometimes you have to do things you don't want to as they need done, like setting tables lol BUT I will say, pretty much every close friend or families that i talk to on the regular, they are very very pleased with the results upping the frequency of discipline while upping the positive things too, praise for even small things done well or improved, I watch like a hawk for things to celebrate as much as things to teach on or correct The kids aren't always happy, but in the long run I think it benefits them, like it did me, my mom took this approach with me. Would that perhaps be something worth considering with your kiddos, but son in particular? I just try to give tips and advice based on what ive found to work with children i care for.
