I saw this link on another forum and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a working engineer and more of a grandfather type. Never had my own family but I was like an adopted Dad/Grandpa for about 20 years to a family, where I had parenting privileges. I have also mentored young adults.

I support 100% old-school methods of parenting and those parents to practice that. You will never hear me criticize any parents for spanking their children or teens, or even young adults. Period.

Hats off to all single parents out there. You have a tough job doing it all on your own.
