Good Morning

I have very strict rules about each child controlling what they watch or listen to. I keep it very limited but still allow a little wiggle room to choose. My rule is, if I hear profanity coming from the TV or music, YOU are the one that gets your mouth washed out with soap. Last night they all 3 watched a movie that is generally clean but has one or two choice words in it. I said nothing last night. I pretended to be away from the room and busy when the profanity was uttered. However, all 3 will be watching the paused spots in the video and getting their mouths washed out. My first question of the day is about method of application. Do any of you prefer one method over another?
