Date Posted: 07:25:30 03/31/26 Tue What are everyone’s rules regarding screen time? Claire and I have discussed screen time extensively. Our goal is for the most part to give our kids a screen-free childhood. The plan is to not have iPads at all and to limit TV watching to specific family movie nights. On the other hand, I am not sure if this approach is even practical this day and age. They will probably be exposed to iPads at school and there are some technology based things that I think will serve them well as adults if they are exposed to them early. Namely Microsoft office and a basic knowledge of AI. I also recognize that in this day and age we can’t just do what our parents did, sending us to play outside for hours at a time.
