From experience, and I think my kids would agree, the car! especially if the parking lot had people in it lol
You try and park in a quiet part of the lot just in case you need to come out and discipline.

But just this afternoon, brought both kids when i picked them up today to grab something quick for dinner at Walmart, well Matthew was having a little fit so we all marched to the family restroom, was embarrassing for him im sure as i smacked his bottom once then took both kids hands.

He got his undies taken town and spanked soundly over my knee with his sister watching on.

Would have preferred to be just the child and I for discipline but can't always do that.
